Live lessons

Each course contains 2 live lessons. These must be booked via the portal at least 24 hours in advance. Once booked, the date and time of the lesson can only be changed by giving 24 hours notice. Occasionally it may be necessary for the lesson to be rescheduled by the teacher. If this happens, the student (or parent/guardian) will be notified by email and you will be asked to choose another open lesson slot for the lesson to take place.

For safeguarding purposes, live lessons for those under 18 must take place in a room with an open door and parents/guardians must provide that one of them or a trusted adult shall be present in the same premises as the pupil while the lesson takes place. Parents/guardians are of course welcome to be present in the background at lessons, however I ask that they are a silent observer during the duration of the session. If they would like to ask questions, this can be done so at the end of the session.

Parents/guardians should also be aware that lessons will not be recorded in any form and there is no facility for recordings to be initiated by pupils via the Zoom platform.
